Inter Milan welcome Bayern Munich to the San Siro tonight with a 2-1 lead in their Champions League quarter-final tie.
Davide Frattesi scored a dramatic late winner in the first leg in Germany, to give the Italians a narrow advantage ahead of this evening’s return.
Inter are aiming to reach the semi-finals for just the second time since last winning the Champions League in 2009/10. The Nerazzurri boast a brilliant defensive record in this season’s competition, having conceded just three goals in 11 games.
Bayern head into the clash boasting a six-point lead in the Bundesliga title race. At the weekend, the Bavarians were held to a 2-2 draw by Borussia Dortmund.
Simone Inzaghi rotated his options against Cagliari at the weekend and handed key names, including Alessandro Bastoni and Marcus Thuram, rest ahead of the return.
Kristjan Asllani is fit to return after suspension ruled him out of the first leg, while Mehdi Taremi returned from a muscular issue to make the bench at the weekend.
In terms of absences, Denzel Dumfries and Piotr Zielinski remain sidelined through injury.
