Inter Milan are unlikely to receive any last-minute offers for either Joaquin Correa or Marko Arnautovic before the summer transfer window closes.

This according to La Repubblica, via FCInterNews. They report that both forwards could remain in the squad this season, but that one would have to be left out of the Champions League squad list.

In the last couple weeks of the transfer window, offloading players could be a bigger priority for Inter than making signings.

The Nerazzurri largely feel that their squad is complete.

But on the other hand, there are a few players whose wages Inter certainly wouldn’t mind getting off their books.

In attack, there are two players whose future at Inter has looked up in the air all summer.

Both Correa and Arnautovic are players Inter would by all accounts listen to offers for.

Inter Unlikely To Receive Last-Minute Offers For Correa Or Arnautovic

30-year-old Argentine international Correa spent last season on loan at Marseille.

However, it was a disastrous campaign for Correa, who failed to score or assist a goal for the French team.

Meanwhile, Arnautovic joined Inter last summer. The Austrian had a solid if unspectacular campaign as a backup striker, though suffered a couple muscle injuries.

In the case of Correa, it has seemed almost inevitable that Inter will try and offload the Argentine.

Meanwhile, Inter are not exactly showing Arnautovic the door. But there is a sense that if the right solution emerges the Nerazzurri would happily part ways with the 35-year-old.

So far, though, there have been no serious offers for either Correa or Arnautovic.

Inter have basically advertised the availability of both forwards for weeks. And there have not been any convincing offers.

And now there are just two weeks to go in the transfer window. It is looking less and less likely that the situation will change.

Therefore, La Repubblica anticipate, both Arnautovic and Correa are likely to remain a part of Inter’s squad this season as things stand.

Both forwards are under contract with the Nerazzurri until the end of next June.

One of Arnautovic or Correa would then be left out of Inter’s Champions League squad list.
