Inter Milan transfer target Yann Bisseck is enjoying his time in the limelight as his name is starting to surface on the news.
As we reported earlier, the Nerazzurri have found an agreement in principle with the Germany U20 starlet.
The club’s sporting director Piero Ausilio met the player’s representatives on Friday. Following positive talks, the two parties scheduled another summit in the next few days to finalize the details.
The 22-year-old is a youth product of Koln who has been traveling across Europe in recent years.
Last summer, he completed a switch to Aarhus, a club that competes in the Danish top-flight league.
But despite playing in a relatively unsung league, Yann Biseck still managed to attract interest from some top European clubs, including Inter Milan.
As for the man himself, he seems to be enjoying the moment while feeling spoilt for choice.
“Most of the time during the transfer window, I used to wonder where I could go, if there was still a good option for me,” said the young centre-back in an interview as reported by FcInterNews.
“But now my fortunes are changing. I seem to be spoiled for choice. Honestly I’m having fun.
“If I was told when I went to Aarhus that I would have had this chance at some point, I wouldn’t have believed it.”
Nevertheless, the German doesn’t seem to be lacking self-confidence. He feels has what it takes to make it at the top level.
While he hints that a top European club is looking to sign him, he made sure not to spill the beans regarding his rumored transfer to Inter Milan.
“If the leaders of a top European club are monitoring me and looking to give me an opportunity at the highest level, then why shouldn’t I trust myself?
“But I know that I can’t lose my mind. The next step is very important to me, the sporting perspective is absolutely key in this.”
Therefore, Yann Bisseck is willing to bet on himself next season as his potential transfer to Inter Milan seems to be in progress.
The young defender isn’t only solid at the back, but also has a knack for scoring goals. He bagged five strikes and contributed with three assists last season.
For their part, the Nerazzurri could resort to the German as a direct replacement to Milan Skriniar who will join Paris Saint-Germain as a free agent.
