Inter Milan owners Oaktree Capital are keen to change the course of the club’s transfer dealings at the end of the season.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInterNews, one of the American investment funds’ first objectives is to walk away from veteran signings.
When Mehdi Taremi joined Inter on a Bosman deal last summer, everyone thought it would be a massive coup.
However, the 32-year-old has flopped in Serie A.
Meanwhile, recent reports suggested the new ownership would’ve stopped his arrival had they assumed the reins earlier.
Oaktree’s plans for Inter became more clear in January.
Indeed, the agreement for Petar Sucic to swap Dinamo Zagreb for the San Siro highlighted the club’s change of course.

Instead of pursuing experienced players, the Nerazzurri will focus on bringing talented youngsters.
As for Simone Inzaghi, his position in the dugout remains rock-solid.
Though his contract runs out in 2026, there’s a feeling he’ll be in charge for years to come.
