Inter Milan Tracking Ex-PSG & Chelsea Coach Thomas Tuchel If Simone Inzaghi Leaves, Italian Media Report | OneFootball

Inter are one of the clubs tracking former Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain, and Borussia Dortmund coach Thomas Tuchel.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the 49-year-old would be one of the targets to replace Simone Inzaghi if the current coach leaves, and that Roma, Tottenham Hotspur, and West Ham United are also interested.

Tuchel has been without a club since being sacked by Chelsea early on in the season.

The German coach is not without admirers, however, and according to the Gazzetta, Nerazzurri CEO Beppe Marotta and Sporting Director Piero Ausilio count themselves among them.

Right now, Inzaghi remains in post as Inter coach, but there is some uncertainty about the future of the former Lazio coach’s future beyond the end of the season if the team suffer a poor finish to the campaign.

If Inter and Inzaghi were to part ways, the Gazzetta report that Tuchel would be on the Nerazzurri’s list of possible replacements.

Meanwhile, Spurs and Roma are reportedly interested in the German coach as a replacement if Antonio Conte or Jose Mourinho respectively were to leave.

Premier League team West Ham United are also reported as having an interest in the former Mainz coach.
