Inter Milan young striker Sebastiano Esposito will have to choose between Hellas Verona and Sampdoria.
As we reported last night, the 21-year-old was very close to sealing a loan switch to Verona.
The Gialloblu agreed a deal with the Nerazzurri to take the young striker on a dry loan for the upcoming campaign.
But according to Sky Sport via FcInter1908, Sampdoria have emerged as an alternative option for the youngster.
The source claims that the Blucerchiati have also managed to find an agreement with Inter, taking the green light to complete the deal.
Therefore, it’s now up to Esposito to choose between joining Verona or making the switch to Sampdoria.
The 21-year-old joined the club’s ranks back in 2014. He made his breakthrough with the first team during Antonio Conte’s reign at the club.
However, he has been embarking on successive loan stints since 2020. He spent time at Spal, Venezia, Basel, Anderlecht and most recently Bari.
So after three spells in Serie B, Esposito could relish the chance to prove his worth in Italy’s top flight. In this case, Verona would be the natural choice.
However, the young bomber could also relish the chance to work under the guidance of Italy legend Andrea Pirlo who took over at Sampdoria this summer.
