Inter Milan midfielder Marcelo Brozovic will finally accept an offer from Al-Nassr, according to a circulating report.
The 30-year-old was holding out for a transfer to Barcelona. However, the Catalans’ financial troubles hindered the operation.
So according to Sportitalia, the Croatian finally acknowledged that his desired transfer to Camp Nou is economically impossible.
Therefore, the former Dinamo Zagreb man has decided to accept the proposal coming from the Saudi Pro League.
Al-Nassr have been hellbent on signing Brozovic and have already found an agreement in principle with Inter Milan over a transfer fee.
The Saudi club has been tenaciously working on convincing the deep-lying playmaker of making the switch to the Middle East.
As the source explains, the club’s representatives remained in Croatia even following the player’s cold reception.
Nevertheless, their insistence could be fruitful after all, with Brozovic now reportedly on the verge of accepting the offer from Al-Nassr.
For their part, the Nerazzurri will be hoping to finalize the transfer as soon as possible. The Italians direly need new funds to invest in the market
So if Inter manage to collect around 23 million euros by selling Brozovic, this sum will be spent on a new midfielder.
Davide Frattesi remains the main candidate to replace the departing Croatian. The Sassuolo midfielder would love to join the Beneamata.
For his part, Valencia youngster Yunus Musah would likely be the alternative for the Italian international.
