Inter Milan are on the verge of completing a deal to sign teenage Montenegrin midfielder Andrija Vukoje from OFK Grbalj.
This according to Bosnian outlet SportSport.ba. They report that the clubs have reached an agreement, and that the 16-year-old is set for his medicals with the Nerazzurri.
Inter are very much looking to invest in youth moving forward.
That is the dictate under owners Oaktree Capital. They have signalled that they are willing to invest in signings, but that they want to look for players with room to grow and potential resale value.
Inter have made a number of moves to make the first team squad younger.
Moreover, the Nerazzurri are also ready to set up an Under-23 team next season.
But Inter are also still focusing on even younger players. They are keeping an eye out for players with the potential to develop into top players in a few years.
One such player is 16-year-old midfielder Andrija Vukoje.
Thus far, Vukoje has only played in the Montenegrin second division. However, his talent has already started to stand out, with a number of European teams showing an interest in signing him.
It is Inter, however, who are on the verge of a deal for the 16-year-old however, reports SportSport.
