However, it was OM who emerged as the most concrete track over the past few weeks. The two clubs have been negotiating a deal for quite some time, and it appears that the finish line is now in sight.

According to Foot Mercato via FcInterNews, Inter, and Marseille have almost found a total agreement.

Hence, the Argentine should soon join the Ligue 1 side where he’ll be looking to further develop his game under the guidance of Roberto De Zerbi.

As the source explains, the youngster will sign for Marseille on an initial loan move. The French side will also have the option to buy the player at the end of the season.

Nevertheless, Inter refuse to lose their hold over the player’s future. Therefore, the agreement will also include a buy-back clause that allows the Nerazzurri to reclaim the teenager’s services.

At the moment, the two clubs are ironing out the final details, so the white smoke should soon emerge.

Italian football journalist Alfredo Pedulla confirms that Inter have received an official offer from Marsielle.

The transfer market guru reveals that OM will have the option to buy Carboni for 40 million euros. On the other hand, Inter would have to a pay a slightly higher figure to activate their buy-back clause.

Carboni is one of the most exciting young talents to graduate from Inter’s academy in recent years.

The attacking midfielder showcased his immense potential last season while on loan at Monza.

His exploits gained him a spot in the Argentina squad that went on to defend their Copa America crown earlier this month.

However, Simone Inzaghi hasn’t been able to find the young man a prominent role in his squad.

Therefore, Inter have decided to send him away for the second summer in a row, albeit without relinquishing control over his future.
