Inter Milan make contact with Chelsea player, could spark swap deal for two players | OneFootball

The transfer rumours are now in full swing ahead of this summers transfer window, and there are so many potential stories heating up to keep an eye on from a Chelsea perspective.

There is of course Chelsea’s rumoured interest in bringing back former Blue Romelu Lukaku from Inter Milan this window.

Most outlets are reporting this now, the most recent being The Athletic yesterday.

In the same article it mentions that Chelsea have also been in deep discussions over making a move to sign another Inter player, Archaf Hakimi.

Chelsea’s interest in these two could come into play as Inter Milan register their own interest in a Chelsea player, Emerson Palmieri.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, they have started talks with his entourage over a move.

With Inter’s financial struggles, a swap deal could be something that suits all parties, should Chelsea step up their interest in any of the above two players.
