Curiously, Simone Inzaghi’s team only dropped points at home thus far this season.

The Beneamata suffered a 1-2 defeat at the hands of Sassuolo at the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium. They also squandered a two-goal lead while hosting Bologna. The match ended 2-2.

But as Il Corriere dello Sport (via FcInterNews) notes, Inter have been perfect in their travels.

Inzaghi’s side won its away fixtures against Cagliari, Empoli, Salernitana and Torino.

However, the Roman newspaper wonders if Inter will be able to keep their impressive away record intact with a tough fixture list looming on the horizon.

The first major away test ensues tomorrow. The Nerazzurri will take on Atalanta at the Gewiss Stadium in Bergamo. Gian Piero Gasperini’s men are in good form at the moment.

After the international break, Inter travel to Turin for the second time this season. However, their hosts this time will be Juventus who currently sit second in the Serie A table.

Inter Milan Will Try To Preserve Their Perfect Away Record But Face Four Stern Tests

The Beneamata’s two following away fixtures won’t be any easier. They will lock horns with Napoli at the Maradona Stadium on December 3rd then take on Lazio at the Olimpico on December 17th.

Their final away test in 2023 will be at the Luigi Ferraris against Genoa.

Therefore, we shall see how many points will Inzaghi’s men collect from the difficult away fixtures.
