Inter, Lazio, Man City, and Marseille are all keen on Hellas Verona’s Reda Belahyane, while AC Milan could move as early as January.
This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews.
Belahyane is one player who has enjoyed an impressive start to the season.
The 20-year-old joined Hellas Verona from Ligue 1 side Nice during the summer transfer window.
And the Gialloblu’s intuition has paid off significantly already with Belahyane’s performances.
Belahyane has established himself as a key part of the Verona starting eleven under coach Paolo Zanetti.
And this has also earned c his first call-ups for the Morocco international team.
Despite being just twenty years of age, Belahyane’s playing style has shown significant maturity.
The Verona midfielder has named former Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante as one of his major inspirations.
And Tuttosport also note major similarities to the style of play of current Arsenal and former Chelsea, Napoli, and Verona midfielder Jorginho.
Inevitably, Belahyane’s style of play has already put him in high demand with some big teams.
Top sides both in Serie A and around Europe consider the Moroccan international midfielder’s profile to be extremely important, as he can set the tempo in a possession-based system.
Inter are foremost among Belahyane’s suitors, reports Tuttosport.
But the Nerazzurri are not the only team in Serie A who are keen on the 20-year-old.
Lazio would also like to keep Belahyane in the Italian top flight. And so would Inter’s city rivals AC Milan.
And with the Rossoneri aiming towards a midfield rebuild, Tuttosport report that they would even consider snapping up Belahyane as early as during the January transfer window.
Meanwhile, Premier League juggernauts Manchester City are also keeping a close eye on Belahyane, reports Tuttosport.
And the French-born Verona midfielder has also caught the eye of Marseille.
