Inter Milan have inquired about signing Marseille winger Luis Henrique this summer.

This according to Sky Sport Italia transfer reporter Marco Barzaghi. He reports in a tweet that the Nerazzurri have an interest in signing the Brazilian, though they would face plenty of competition.

The opening of the summer transfer window is still a couple months away.

Inter Milan are in the midst of the busiest and most important part of their season.

However, behind the scenes, the club are very much thinking about the future. And that includes laying the groundwork for transfers during the upcoming summer window.

According to Sky Sport Italia reporter Barzaghi, one player who has entered Inter’s sights is Marseille winger Luis Henrique.

Henrique joined Marseille from Botafogo in 2020. And while he has had to take some time to establish a place for himself in the Ligue 1 side’s first eleven, he has been a regular this season under Roberto De Zerbi.

Henrique has made a total of 101 appearances for Marseille. He has scored eleven goals for the club.

This campaign, he has made 27 Ligue 1 appearances.

Henrique has the versatility to play on either flank. However, his favoured side is the left.

This season, the 23-year-old has played as an attacking winger or wingback under De Zerbi.

According to Barzaghi, Inter Milan have a serious interest in Henrique. They have expressed this to Marseille.

However, Barzaghi also adds that there are a number of other clubs in Europe who want to sign the Brazilian.
