Inter forward Joaquin Correa is at risk of missing around a month as he recovers from a thigh injury picked up on Saturday.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the 28-year-old is likely to miss several matches as he recovers from the strain to the semimembranosus muscle in his right thigh.

Correa has already missed out on one match through his thigh problem, namely the Milan derby on Sunday.

The Argentine will undergo further MRI’s next week to determine exactly how long he will be out for.

What is clear is that the forward will at the very least miss out on Inter’s next couple matches, namely away to Sampdoria in the league and then the first leg round of sixteen Champions League clash with Porto later this month.

Also at risk, according to the Corriere, are Serie A matches against Udinese, Bologna, and Lecce, whilst the 28-year-old could be back in action away to Spezia next month.
