The Inter Milan supporters have chosen club captain Lautaro Martinez as the November Player of the Month.

The club announced the Argentine as the winner in a post on its official website. The skipper received the highest number of votes on a social media pole.

Lautaro Martinez is the LeoVegas.News Player of the Month for November,” reads the official statement.

“The Argentinian striker received the most votes from the Nerazzurri fans in the poll created on LeoVegas.News’ Instagram profile.

“It was an exceptional month for the Inter No.10, who certainly left an important mark.

|In the five games he played across Serie A and the Champions League, the Nerazzurri captain produced extraordinary performances and scored three goals (against Atalanta, Salzburg and Juventus).

“Indeed, he found the back of the net with a lovely curling effort against La Dea. He also scored a very important penalty against the Austrian side.

“Moreover, Lautaro delivered a precise right-footed finish against the Bianconeri to draw Simone Inzaghi’s side back on level terms.

“For his contribution in the game against Juventus, he was picked as the Man of the Match by the Nerazzurri fans.”

Martinez has been firing on all cylinders since the start of the season. The 26-year-old is currently leading the Serie A scoring charts with 13 goals from 14 appearances.

The striker also bagged a couple of goals in his five Champions League outings this season.

The 2022 World Cup winner inherited the captain’s armband following the departure of Samir Handanovic and other senior members of the squad in the summer
