High-performing coach Simone Inzaghi is reportedly on the cusp of putting pen to paper on a new contract at Inter Milan.
According to Corriere dello Sport via FCInterNews, the 48-year-old’s renewal is a mere formality.
Simone Inzaghi has gone from strength to strength since taking charge of the Nerazzurri in 2021.
Indeed, he has led the club to six major domestic titles, including last season’s landmark 20th Scudetto.
Furthermore, he nearly won the Champions League in 2023, only for Manchester City to stop him in his tracks.

As confirmed by Beppe Marotta, Inter are eager to tie Inzaghi down to a new contract.
His current deal runs out in 2026.
However, the reigning Serie A champions are keen to extend his deal for at least another year.
Meanwhile, Inzaghi has never shown ambition to leave despite drawing inquiries from several top European clubs.
Indeed, Manchester United, among others, tried to lure the ex-Lazio boss away from Serie A last summer.
Yet, Inzaghi had rebuffed foreign advances to pledge his loyalty to Inter.
