Inter Milan have asked their new coach Cristian Chivu for three key things in his first season in charge of the team.
Today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews, report that the Nerazzurri report that the Nerazzurri want a return to winning ways, a mental recovery, and a greater focus on youth.
Inter Milan are on the verge of appointing Cristian Chivu as their new coach. The 44-year-old will reportedly terminate his contract with Parma tomorrow, and then take the reins from Simone Inzaghi.
Chivu is not a coach with much senior experience: just thirteen matches at Parma.
However, beyond his work at the Gialloblu, Inter trust Chivu on the basis of his time coaching their youth ranks.

And according to the Corriere dello Sport, there are three things Inter have asked from Chivu.
Naturally, the first would be a return to winning trophies.
Last season, Inter were in the hunt for major silverware right until the end of the season. However, they faltered at the last hurdle and ended the campaign empty-handed.
Therefore, next time out, Inter expect to end the season with something fresh in their trophy cabinet.
Meanwhile, the Corriere dello Sport notes, Inter will have to bounce back from an absolutely devastating end to last season.
The Nerazzurri suffered a shocking 5-0 defeat at the hands of Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League final. And that came just a week after they narrowly lost out on the Serie A title.
That end to the campaign has clearly mentally devastated Inter. Therefore, the club want Chivu to change the atmosphere and get the team back on track mentally.
Lastly, the Corrirere report, Inter expect more of a focus on youth from Chivu.
