His next destination will likely be Real Madrid who have been on his heels for several years.

This leaves Paris Saint-Germain with the daunting task of replacing one of the biggest stars on the planet.

Furthermore, Mbappé is the club’s all-time top goalscorer. The 2018 World Cup winner delivered 243 goals and 93 assists in 290 matches for the Parisians.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport via FcInter1908, the French capital side could be fishing for a replacement in Serie A.

They have reportedly highlighted Martinez as one of their primary targets. AC Milan star Rafael Leao and Napoli striker Victor Osimhen are also on the shortlist.

But as the pink newspaper tells it, the Nerazzurri captain could be the most suitable option from a tactical standpoint.

The source adds that PSG are closely following the developments on Lautaro’s contract renewal.

The Argentine is seeking a net wage of 10 million euros, while Inter are offering 8M in addition to bonuses.

Moreover, the Nerazzurri value their talismanic leader at around 150 million euros.

Nevertheless, GdS believes that negotiations between the two clubs could take off if PSG enters the fray with a figure that exceeds 100 million euros.

While matching Mbappe’s figures is no easy task, Lautaro is currently enjoying his most prolific campaign.

The 2022 World Cup winner is flying off the Serie A scoring charts with 19 strikes thus far this season.
