Inter midfielder Stefano Sensi is set to complete a move to Sampdoria on a dry loan for the rest of the season in order to find more playing time.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the 26-year-old has chosen the Blucerchiati to spend the rest of the campaign because of the guarantee of playing time.

Sensi has made only nine appearances for the Nerazzurri in Serie A this season, eight from the bench, totalling 158 minutes, and he wants to find the right environment to play his way into consistent form.

Napoli and Valencia are among the clubs to have come forward for Sensi on loan for the rest of the season, but it is Sampdoria who have given him assurances of regular starts.

The midfielder is still hoping to get himself back into the Italian national team setup as well as in contention at Inter, and so he will go on loan to Sampdoria, without any purchase obligation for the Ligurian club in the deal.
