Inter midfielder Stefano Sensi could mark his comeback from injury by featuring against Genoa in Serie A tomorrow.

The Italian international has endured an injury hit campaign this season, limiting him to just 10 league appearances, and missed the Nerazzurri’s 3-0 win over AC Milan in the Derby della Madonnina with a muscular strain.

However, as reported on Italian television station Sky Sport Italia earlier today, Sensi could be included in coach Antonio Conte’s squad for the clash against Genoa at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.

The former Sassuolo midfielder has stepped up his training this week and is battling to be declared fit to be named amongst the substitutes for the visit of the Grifone, with a view to him stepping up his comeback further in next weekend’s match against Parma.

Meanwhile, after an outbreak of positive tests for COVID-19 at boardroom level at Inter, Vice-President Javier Zanetti will be the sole official representative for the match tomorrow.
