Inter Midfielder Nicolo Barella’s Calf Problem To Be Assessed Tomorrow, Italian Broadcaster Reports | OneFootball

Inter central midfielder Nicolo Barella’s condition is to be assessed tomorrow by Inter medical staff according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, which was broadcast a short time ago.

Barella is currently dealing with a calf problem, as revealed by Inter manager Antonio Conte following last night’s UEFA Champions League group stage win over Borussia Monchengladbach.

It is probable that Arturo Vidal will take the place of Barella in the Inter starting line-up for this weekend’s match versus Bologna in order to give the Italian national team player a breather.

Barella joined Inter from fellow Serie A side Cagliari in the Summer of 2019 and has went from strength to strength during his time with Inter and cemented himself as one of the best central midfielders on the planet.

Barella has made 55 appearances across all competitions to date for the Nerazzurri club, in which he has scored four goals and provided 12 assists for his teammates.

This term he has made 14 appearances, during which he has tallied four assists.
