Inter midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan feels that the Nerazzurri will be able to get past the spell of poor form that they have been at the start of the season.

Speaking to Italian broadcaster DAZN ahead of the team’s Serie A clash with Roma, the Armenian stressed that the Nerazzurri can become even stronger on the other side of this spell of form, and praised coach Simone Inzaghi who he feels can guide them through difficulties.

Inter have not had the start that they’ve wanted to the campaign, with four wins and three losses in Serie A and one win and one loss in the Champions League.

The packed fixture list in the next few weeks before the Champions League present the Nerazzurri with an opportunity to make that tough start a distant memory, but things won’t be easy in doing so, and they will have to show their quality.

“We’ve only been thinking about winning this match, we can turn the page,” he said. “We’ll get out of this bad period and come back stronger.”

And of his coach Inzaghi, Mkhitaryan said that “He’s a great coach, he knows what to do and what not to do. There’s nothing to add, we’re prepared for this match.”
