Inter midfielder Arturo Vidal will be called up by coach Antonio Conte for tomorrow’s derby against AC Milan, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.
The report details how the 33-year-old Chilean midfielder, who is contracted to the Milanese club until 2022, returned to squad training yesterday, completing the entirety of the session with the rest of the squad.
He will join the squad for tomorrow’s derby clash against the Rossoneri, although he is not likely to start, the report continues.
Conte is set to start Danish midfielder Christian Eriksen instead, wanting to reward the former Tottenham man’s growth and strong momentum.
The only Inter player missing tomorrow will be Italian midfielder Stefano Sensi, who is out due to fatigue and will train separately for a few more days.
The 33-year-old Vidal has made 26 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 1600 minutes. In that time, he has scored two goals and provided two assists.
