Inter Miam hosts New York Red Bulls in a top-of-the-table Major League Soccer clash this Saturday at Chase Stadium.

The south Florida side are riding a three-game winning streak and have rebounded following their CONCACAF Champions Cup exit to Liga MX Giants Monterrey in early April. Gerardo 'Tata' Martino's team have pulled off wins against Sporting Kansas City, Nashville SC and New England Revolution in which the Herons went behind first in the early stages but still managed to turn the game around.

Miami have also been in incredible goal-scoring form, scoring 10 goals during the win streak -- they've managed three against SKC and Nashville and four vs the Revs -- to propel themselves to first place in the Supporters' Shield table with 21 points from 11 games played.

Red Bulls have impressed for the most part under first-year head coach Sandro Schwarz, who's guided his team to seventh place in the Supporters' Shield race and third place in the Eastern Conference standings with 18 points from 10 games played.

New York started their 2024 campaign winning their first four out of six games played that includes a 4-0 trashing of Miami at Red Bull Arena back in March, but have found wins hard to come by with three consecutive draws against Chicago Fire, LAFC and Vancouver Whitecaps.

Veteran full-back Jordi Alba is still on the treatment table and nursing a hamstring injury, and you can expect for Franco Negri to fill in at left-back in the meantime. Fellow defender Serhiy Kryvstov is also dealing with a hamstring problem and is expected to be back in action later in May, with Nicolas Freire taking up shop at left center-back in his absence.

New signing Federico Redondo is expected to return to action later this month as he's still recovering from a knee injury.

Red Bulls center-back Noah Eile, who's started seven games this season, will miss the primetime clash due to being sent off last weekend against the Whitecaps. Eile was shown a straight red late on in the game, and Andres Reyes will look to take his place in the lineup Saturday night.

Peter Stroud and Serge Ngoma are dealing with respective ankle and knee injuries and are expected to be sidelined through late May.

This contest is shaping up to be one of the most entertaining and intriguing ones of the 2024 season so far with Lionel Messi and Emil Forsberg going head-to-head. Miami will be favorites to claim all three points at home with most of their first-choice players available, while New York shouldn't be written off as they've proven to be a top side in 2024.
