Inter linking up with the NFL: CJ Stroud visits Inter HQ | OneFootball

While our Men's First Team are currently away in the USA for the FIFA Club World Cup 2025, there has been more movement in efforts to link the Club with US culture, more specifically with the National Football League.

The Nerazzurri have already hosted some special guests in Los Angeles and Seattle. At the UCLA campus, LA Chargers kicker Cameron Dicker met the players during a training session. Then, Inter legend Douglas Maicon met former Seahawk Cliff Avril at the Virginia Mason Athletic Center, the Seattle Seahawks' home base. The growing connection was further strengthened by the visit of Seahawks defensive tackle Rylie Mills, who took part in a special shirt swap with Marcus Thuram.

So, those are the touchpoints between Inter and the NFL in the USA, but there was another crossover a bit closer to home as CJ Stroud, quarterback for the Houston Texans, came to Inter HQ in Milano. Stroud, named offensive rookie of the season in 2023, learned all about the Club's history, marvelled at our Trophy Room and saw the memorabilia held at Inter's headquarters.

It was an unforgettable visit that finished with a special gift: an Inter 2025/26 Home jersey with the number 7 and the NFL jersey that Inter launched alongside Fanatics.
