Midfielder Federico Bernardeschi will leave Juventus at the end of his current contract, and he is keeping his options open for his next destination.

Speaking to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, the 28-year-old spoke about his future, with Inter among the clubs reportedly considering signing him on a free transfer.

Bernardeschi signed for the Bianconeri from Fiorentina in the summer of 2017, but he has now played his last game for the club in the form of yesterday evening’s 2-0 lost to his old club La Viola.

No contract extension has been agreed between he and the Bianconeri on a deal which runs out at the end of next month, and so he is free to join a new club of his choosing.

The Nerazzurri are among the teams to have been linked with Bernardeschi’s signature, particularly given that they are seeking out free transfer opportunities, and CEO Beppe Marotta was the person to have brought Bernardeschi to Juventus in the first place.

The midfielder said that “I don’t have any contract offers in front of me yet. Right now I’m thinking a lot about myself and that’s the most important thing, I would like a solid project that fits well with my ideas and then we’ll see what happens.”

“I’m open to everything,” he added. “I’m open to change and I’m wary of those who always remain in their comfort zone. Change is evolution, I am open to everything.”
