Given Smalling’s unstable physical condition and Kumbulla’s early season struggles, Roma are also rumored to be interested in signing an additional center-back in January.

Earlier reports linked the capital club to Marcão, 25-year-old defender of Turkish side Galatasaray.

According to TMW, however, Roma are not the only ones monitoring the Brazilian.

Inter are also reportedly interested in Marcão.
