Inter Hoping To Avoid Suspensions For Juventus Clash In Aftermath Of Lazio Defeat, Italian Media Report

Inter will be hoping that no key players will be suspended for the major head-to-head clash with Juventus at the San Siro on Sunday.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who note that today is the last day in which the Sports Judge can potentially hand out sanctions to any Nerazzurri players for actions in Saturday’s clash with Lazio at the Stadio Olimpico.

The Lazio match had been ill-tempered, and saw heated confrontations between the two sets of players especially after the Biancocelesti’s second goal.

Several bookings were given to both teams, but no one was send off during the match, while Lazio defender Felipe Luiz was given a red card in the post-match for a distasteful joke with former teammate Joaquin Correa.

Referee Massimo Irrati’s final report for the fixture has not included anything that would cause any Inter players to be suspended for the Juventus clash, and the club will be hoping that no further action is taken by the Sports Judge.
