Inter are hoping that the interest from both Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea in defender Milan Skriniar will lead the clubs to go head-to-head for his signature and raise his value.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the Nerazzurri are now resigned to losing the 27-year-old, but are at least hoping to cash in with a very high fee.

PSG have been pushing hard for Skriniar, and whilst all of their offers so far have been rejected, Inter expect the Parisians to return with an improved offer to further test their resolve.

Meanwhile, Chelsea are serious about targeting the Slovakian, as they must bring in high-level signings to fill two positions in their defense, and they are keen on him.

Inter believe that if both clubs step up their interest, a bidding war could break out, and that this could lead to a higher asking price.
