Inter have won four of the five Serie A games they’ve played in which the head referee for tonight’s match against Fiornetina Michael Fabbri has taken charge.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who highlight the Nerazzurri’s track record in games where the Italian referee has officiated, with this evening set to be his sixth game of Inter’s.

The Nerazzurri will hope that the focus during their trip to Tuscany to face La Viola will be on the action on the pitch and not on any controversial refereeing decisions.

The Serie A clash, their fifth of the season, promises to be an intriguing and entertaining match, and Inter will naturally hope that they can keep the momentum of their early season going with three points taken from the Stadio Artemio Franchi.

The last time Fabbri took charge of an Inter game in Serie A, they emerged victorious against coach Simone Inzaghi’s former team Lazio on February 14, and they will hope that this is the case once again tonight against Vincenzo Italiano’s men.
