Inter have transformed San Siro into a fortress this season which represents a turnaround compared to last season, an Italian media report has pointed out today.

Corriere dello Sport point out that Inter have picked up 28 of their 53 points so far this season at home which is an impressive tally considering Romelu Lukaku and his teammates have played one less home game than most other teams.

Since the 2-2 draw versus Parma on Halloween, Inter have went on a run of eight straight league wins at home, including wins over the likes of Juventus, Napoli and Lazio.

This is a real turnaround for Inter compared to last season when the majority of their points came away from home with them picking up 43 away from home compared to 39 at home last term as they finished second in Serie A, one point behind Juventus.

Inter currently lead the way in Serie A and have a four point gap over second placed AC Milan.
