Inter Have Serie A’s Highest Net Spend During Last 10 Transfer Windows, CIES Report Reveals

Inter have the highest net spend of all Serie A clubs over the past 10 transfer windows, a report highlighted today.
As part of their latest weekly report, the International Centre for Sports Studies (CIES) revealed the Nerazzurri had forked out a massive €664 million in the transfer market in this period while only recouping €278 million, making for a net spend of €386 million.
Inter are fifth on the list concerning Europe’s top five leagues with only Paris Saint-Germain, Barcelona, Manchester United and Manchester City posting a higher net spend.
City’s record is worst of all, with Pep Guardiola’s side having a net spend of €631 million.
AC Milan are second worst behind Inter in terms of Serie A sides, with the Rossoneri spending an overall €311 million ahead of Juventus on €249 million, considering the difference between signings and sales.
Atalanta have the best transfer numbers in Serie A, having brought in a net positive €133 million in the last 10 transfer sessions, ahead of Sampdoria on €76 million and Genoa on €75 million.
Lille have made the biggest profit of all in Europe’s top leagues with an impressive €191 million.
