Inter have scored 70% of their goals in Serie A this season during the second half of matches, a report in Italy’s media highlighted today.
Antonio Conte’s side are Serie A’s highest scoring side with 43 goals so far and 30 have been scored after half-time, as pointed out by Tuesday’s print edition of Corriere dello Sport.
The Nerazzurri club have, on many occasions this season, come from behind in matches with these comebacks often happening in the second half, such as against Cagliari and Fiorentina, a time which Inter have proven to be absolutely ruthless in front of goal.
Inter have scored in the second half in each of their Serie A game in all barring two of their games this season with them failing to score in the second half in the 2-1 Milan derby defeat to AC Milan and the 1-1 draw with Lazio.
In fact, 26 of the last 32 goals that Inter have scored in the league have come during the second half of games.
