Inter have moved above Atalanta in the official UEFA rankings of all the clubs in Europe thanks to their qualification for the knockout rounds of the Champions League, according to a report in the Italian media.

As has been reported by FCInternews, the Nerazzurri have risen to 24th place in the standings with a score of 60,000 points which means they have overtaken fellow Serie A side Napoli who have 59,500.

La Dea drew 3-3 with BSC Young Boys on Tuesday night in their group that also contains Villareal and Manchester United. They must beat Villareal on the final day if they are to progress to the next stage of the tournament.

There is still three Italian teams ahead of Inter in the rankings. Napoli are just ahead with 62,000, AS Roma are next with 82,000, and Juventus are still up in eighth place with a ranking of 99,000.

AC Milan are down in 38th with 38,000.
