Inter Have Little Prospect Of Signing Roma Outcast Rick Karsdorp, Italian Media Claim | OneFootball

Inter are unlikely to be in the running to sign Roma fullback Rick Karsdorp after his public falling out with coach Jose Mourinho.

As reported in today’s newspaper edition of Il Messaggero, the Dutchman is out of favour at Roma after being publicly criticised by Mourinho following the Giallorossi’s 1-1 draw against Sassuolo in Serie A, and is on the market at the capital club seek to offload him.

It had been suggested that Inter may consider a move for Karsdorp as a potential replacement for Chelsea target and compatriot Denzel Dumfries, but Roma’s demands make such a switch unlikely.

Whilst they would be willing to provide a discount, Roma are adamant that they want to sell the 27-year-old outright or loan him out with an obligation to buy, pushing Inter out of the running.

The Nerazzurri would only look to bring the former Feyenoord player in on a loan without any obligations or immediate costs, so will look elsewhere.
