Inter Handed Tough Champions League Group Of Bayern Munich, Barcelona & Viktoria Plzen | OneFootball

Inter have been drawn in a UEFA Champions League group containing Bayern Munich, Barcelona and Viktoria Plzen for the 2022/23 tournament.

The draw took place on Thursday afternoon at UEFA’s headquarters and saw Inter get a very difficult task handed to them.

They have been drawn in Group C where the seeded team are Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich, the team from pot two is Spanish giants Barcelona, and then the pot four team is Viktoria Plzen from the Czech Republic.

The Nerazzurri will have their work cut out if they are to make it through to the Round of 16 for the second consecutive season as they will need to finish ahead of one of Bayern Munich and Barcelona.

Simone Inzaghi took his side to the second round last season where they were narrowly beaten by Premier League side Liverpool despite a 1-0 win over the Reds at Anfield in the second leg.
