Inter & Flamengo Close To Gabigol Transfer Agreement | OneFootball

Inter and Flamengo are on the verge of reaching an agreement over the permanent transfer of Gabriel ‘Gabigol’ Barbosa according to a report from CalcioMercato.com.

The Brazilian striker has used his loan spell to get his football career back on track after a tough few years following his move to Inter from Santos in 2016 for €30 million.

Gabigol has netted 27 goals for Flamengo during his loan spell with them and should join them for around €18 million, the report details. The two clubs plan to thrash out a deal in December once his loan deal is up.

The report also goes on to explain that Flamengo still also need to reach an agreement over personal terms with the player himself.

It is as yet unclear whether the Nerazzurri will seek to get a clause in the deal that would entitle them to a % of any future transfer involving the recently turned 23-year-old.
