Inter are evaluating all options in regards to their anger with UEFA for the Achraf Hakimi false positive situation, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

The report details how the 21-year-old Moroccan wing back initially tested negative for the virus, before testing positive only hours before the game.

The short time frame meant that the Milanese club could not look to organise a new test to prove the player’s health, denying them the possibility of fielding the former Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund man against Borussia Monchengladbach.

Hakimi was also allowed to train with the squad, angering Inter as it could have put the other players at risk, the report continues.

Considering that Synlab, the laboratory that carried out the tests, claims their respect for the protocols, Inter are looking to address their issues directly to UEFA instead, and are currently evaluating all options in how to proceed.
