La Gazzetta dello Sport reports Inter have reached an agreement to sign Argentinean midfielder Tomas Perez from Newell’s Old Boys for €7m plus €2m add-ons.
Inter have reached an agreement to sign 19-year-old midfielder Tomas Perez, according to Gazzetta.
The Nerazzurri are expected to pay €7m plus €2m add-ons to sign the Argentinean from Newell’s Old Boys.
Inter director Dario Baccin had flown to South America to scout emerging talents at the end of 2024 and Perez received positive reviews.

Negotiations with Perez and his club took place earlier this week, and Inter have now managed to reach an agreement with all the parties involved.
Inter are also interested in Perez’s teammate Mateo Silvetti, but according to Gazzetta, a deal for the 19-year-old winger is ‘more complicated’, so talks will continue in the coming weeks.
Perez is expected to land in Milan in the coming days, and then Inter will decide the next steps for the Argentine.
Perez could join Inter’s U23 team, which will be launched next season, or move to another Serie A club on loan in the January window.
