Inter has rejected a proposal from Divock Origi’s representatives as they are focused on signing Gianluca Scamacca from Sassuolo, according to a report in the Italian media.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Liverpool striker is expecting to leave the club in the summer and he has been offered to the Nerazzurri as it is known they are seeking a new striker in the summer.

Inter are not interested for the time being though because they are working on a deal for Sassuolo striker Gianluca Scamacca.

He is viewed as the long-term replacement for Bosnian striker Edin Dzeko and Genoa forward Felipe Caicedo may be joining the club on loan in the coming days to provide more depth in attack.

The chase for Gianluca Scamacca has gotten easier for Inter now that Juventus look set to sign Dusan Vlahovic from Juventus rather than chasing the Sassuolo man.
