Inter are continuing to look for a new main shirt sponsor to take the place of DigitalBits as the problems mount on and off the pitch.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who identify the need to replace the cryptourrency companies as one of the main outstanding issues at the club off the pitch.

The expectation that Inter had found a viable main shirt sponsor who would guarantee income over the next few seasons evaporated fairly early on in Inter’s partnership with DigitalBits.

The team’s struggles on the pitch have been widely noted, with five losses from ten matches in all competitions so far this season.

However, it’s not just the sagging form of the team on the pitch that is causing headaches, as the search for a new sponsor becomes increasingly outstanding and frantic.

The partnership with DigitalBits can hardly go on for any longer given the cryptocurrency company’s own financial collapse, and so Inter are hoping to identify a replacement as soon as possible.
