Inter are hard at work trying to sign Christian Eriksen on a free transfer according to a report from British broadcaster Sky Sports.

Eriksen’s contract with Premier League Tottenham Hotspur is due to expire at the end of this season and Inter hope to get a deal done as soon as possible to avoid being caught up in a bidding war for his signature with other clubs.

Paris Saint Germain, Juventus, Manchester United have all been linked with moves for the 27-year-old, who has no intention of extending his contract with Spurs.

The report goes on to state that Inter are also continuing to work on a deal for Barcelona’s Arturo Vidal, who is understood to be the club’s number one target.

The 32-year-old Chilean international has become unhappy at the reigning Spanish champions due to his lack of starts this season and due to not being paid some €2.4 million in bonuses and is seemingly desperate to join Inter.
