Inter head coach Simone Inzaghi has told his team to put their emphatic 6-1 win against Bologna out of their minds ahead of their match against Fiorentina this evening.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Corriere della Sera, who report that the manager wants his players to approach the Serie A fixture at the Stadio Artemio Franchi fresh, knowing that they have it all to do once again despite the weekend’s strong showing.

Inter performed very well to earn a big win against Sinisa Mihajlovic’s team on Saturday, but they will be taking on a different opponent in the form of Fiorentina.

Inzaghi will hope that his free-scoring attack can take advantage of a Viola defense which has yet to keep a clean sheet in Serie A, but he also knows that Vincenzo Italiano’s men are only a point behind the Nerazzurri in the table and can hurt them.

The likes of Ivan Perisic, Hakan Calhanoglu, and Edin Dzeko are set to start this evening’s clash in Tuscany having started on the bench and missed out entirely in the case of the former two in the win against the Rossoblu, and the team will have to show different qualities to get the better of Fiorentina.
