Inter coach Simone Inzaghi is ready to allow striker Eddie Salcedo leave on loan after deciding that he is not ready to feature this season.

As reported in today’s newspaper edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport, the new tactician has used the early part of preseason to assess his options and decide whether any of the young strikers in his squad are ready to make the step up.

However, Inzaghi has opted against including Salcedo in his plans for Inter’s title defence this term, with the coach feeling that he is too raw and immature to contribute effectively to the first team.

Instead, the 19-year-old will be made available for loan and Inter will seek a destination where he can continue his development with less pressure. The club’s management will now work on finding the right club for him and he may yet remain in Serie A.

Salcedo spent last season at Hellas Verona but only scored three goals in 23 appearances in all competitions for the Gialloblu.
