Il Corriere dello Sport claims Inter coach Simone Inzaghi snubbed Manchester United and Chelsea over the last few months, but the Red Devils remain interested in the Italian tactician.

Premier League side Manchester United have been following Inter coach Inzaghi since the summer of 2023 and remain interested in the ex-striker.

According to Il Corriere dello Sport, an intermediary working on behalf of the Red Devils sounded out Inzaghi twice: first before the end of last season and then during the international break in September.

However, Inzaghi didn’t even consider leaving the Nerazzurri, snubbing Manchester United and Chelsea, who had also reportedly made an attempt last summer before hiring Enzo Maresca.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Manchester United remain interested in Inzaghi as their head coach, Erik ten Hag, had another disappointing start to the season at Old Trafford, with only eight points in seven games and three Premier League defeats.

Inzaghi has won six titles in three seasons at Inter. This past July, he signed a new contract with the Nerazzurri until 2026.
