Inter have gained the upper hand over the other teams interested in Ange-Yoan Bonny and wish to seal the deal soon to avoid surprises. They are closing in on an agreement on the talent’s price tag with Parma, about €25M, but there are some divergencies concerning the split between fee and bonuses, Gianluca Di Marzio informs.

The Nerazzurri don’t face a ton of competition at the moment. Napoli were keen, but are focusing on Darwin Nunez and Lorenzo Lucca now. The Ducali like Sebastiano Esposito, and he could be part of the package, Alfredo Pedullà informs.

Bonny could potentially join Inter in the United States already, provided they advance past the group stage in the FIFA Club World Cup. They are eyeing another Parma starlet, Giovanni Leoni, but that chase will take time. The Ducali would likely to keep him and could cave just in front of a €20/25M offer.

After the French talent, the Nerazzurri plot to ramp up their efforts to add Rasmus Hojlund, Corriere dello Sport relays. The former Atalanta man has okayed the move, and Manchester United are open to selling him. However, they prefer a permanent deal for €40/45M, while the Italian side proposed an initial loan.

Our Take on Inter Pursuing Bonny and Hojlund

The former is an interesting player and has the right traits to deputize Marcus Thuram, but he’s not cheap. It looks like the deal will happen, but putting all their eggs into an elite striker and rounding out their frontline with youngsters would be a better way to go. They must be confident the Red Devils will eventually agree to that formula or that they could land somebody of the Dane’s caliber in that fashion.
