Inter CEO Beppe Marotta is growing increasingly tired of working under owners Suning at the Nerazzurri, and wants to return to Juventus along with coach Antonio Conte.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who claim that the Nerazzurri executive is thinking about making the switch back to the Bianconeri along with Conte and Alessandro Bastoni.

Juventus will appoint a new board of directors next month after the previous board resigned en masse amid mounting legal troubles.

Marotta’s name has been one persistently linked given the executive’s long association with the Bianconeri, where he was the Gernal Manager of Sport for nearly a decade.

According to the Corriere, the Nerazzurri CEO has grown more and more frustrated with the difficulty of keeping Inter competitive on the pitch while working within tight financial constraints at Inter.

Accordingly, the newspaper claims that he would be eager to be on the new board at Juventus.

Meanwhile, the Corriere links another familiar face to a return to Juventus in the form of coach Antonio Conte.

The 53-year-old is currently in charge of Tottenham Hotspur, having also coached the Italian national team, Chelsea, and Inter since leaving Juventus in 2014.

The Corriere claims that Conte would be happy to leave Tottenham to make the return to Juventus, however.

The coach would replace current Bianconeri head coach Max Allegri.

According to the Roman newspaper, if Marotta and Conte were to make the return to the Bianconeri to sit on the new board, legendary former forward Alessandro Del Piero would also be ready to join them.

Marotta would then select a new Sporting Director to complete the sporting project.
