Inter Can Only Sign Paulo Dybala After First Offloading Alexis Sanchez, Italian Media Report
SempreInter.Com
Inter can only complete the signing of Paulo Dybala on a free transfer after the departure of Alexis Sanchez, although they may not have to offload another forward to do so.
This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri could sign the 28-year-old without first seeing other forwards leave by changing the structure of his wages to have a lower fixed amount and more add-ons.
There is no question that Sanchez must first be on his way out before Inter are able to bring in Dybala, and this is even more the case now that Romelu Lukaku is returning on loan from Chelsea on high wages.
The Nerazzurri are working to accelerate the process of Sanchez’s exit, which could come within the next few days.
Once Sanchez is on his way, the Nerazzurri would still hope to offload one of either Edin Dzeko or Joaquin Correa before signing Dybala, but this may not be strictly necessary.
Should the Argentine agree to accept wages that have a lower fixed amount but more appearance-based add-ons, the Nerazzurri could potentially accommodate him among five forwards.
