Inter boss Simone Inzaghi has stated that even they had key players missing, following their 3-0 win over Roma.

While Jose Mourinho has bemoaned the lack of options available to him in the game because of injuries and suspensions, Inzaghi has told DAZN that even he had some absences to deal with. Goals from Denzel Dumfries, Edin Dzeko and Hakan Calhanoglu helped in the win.

Inzaghi stated: “I’m lucky enough to coach important players. We played these games in an emergency but nobody noticed. In the last five games I haven’t he had a lot of players, D’Ambrosio didn’t play against Empoli. Roma also had a lot of absences but so did we.

“Let’s see how Correa is, I had Lautaro who was not very well, he is an important player for us and I didn’t want to lose him. Let’s see if he recovers for Tuesday.”
