By the end of this month Inter need to raise €40 million in capital gains so to comply with the settlement agreement they agreed with European football’s governing body, UEFA.
Whilst it would be far easier to sell a big name player to achieve this, Inter are to go down the route of selling several youngsters, according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport.
Inter are in the process of defining the sales of Nicolas Rizzo and Lorenzo Gavioli to Genoa for a combined €8 million as well as the double sale of Zinho Vanheusden and Xian Emmers to Standard Liege for €20 million.
The report goes on to rule out the possibility of Ivan Perisic going to China. Selling the Croatian winger to China would certainly bring in a decent capital gain due to all the money now being spent by Chinese clubs but the 30-year-old has other ideas and will not entertain a move to Asia.
The former Wolfsburg player’s desire to play for a club in the Premier League is well known and Arsenal are believed to have shown an interest in him lately.
